It has been an extremely busy week for the team. We completed a V‑cut and a light sand dusting across both golf courses ahead of this weekend’s forecast rain. The greens have responded well to the application, which will help regulate growth and maintain surface quality.
All short‑cut areas have now received their first height reduction. Fairways are being maintained at 8mm, with tees and green surrounds at 6mm. This gradual reduction in height will promote lateral growth and improve density. Contractors will commence work next week, redistributing mulch around The Palms golf course to freshen presentation across key areas. The Palms golf course is in a strong position leading into the 2026 Australian WPGA Championship, and while we are mindful not to peak too early, the coming weeks are shaping up well.
