Following a very disrupted weekend of rain, we are now able to access both courses with mowing equipment again. The consistent light rainfall, combined with high humidity, has slowed the usual dry down process, resulting in temporary course closures and carts being restricted to paths. With conditions improving, both courses are once again fully accessible for golfers and staff. Our team is working around the clock to keep The Pines golf course in excellent condition, while also bringing the final elements together on The Palms golf course ahead of the Australian WPGA Championship. Weather forecasts have been highly inconsistent, and while we remain hopeful that next week’s predicted rain does not eventuate, it is ultimately outside of our control. As tournament preparations ramp up next week, alongside maintaining The Pines golf course, the team will begin work early each morning, with some minor activity continuing into the early evening. We appreciate the continued support of members and residents during this period and look forward to presenting the Club to the highest possible standard for the world to see. |
