As part of the 2026 Festival of Golf, the Club hosted an exceptional evening on Thursday 19 March 2026, bringing together fine food, distinguished wines, and world-class golfing insight for the Three Blue Ducks x Henschke x Golfing Champions Dinner.
Presented in collaboration with Chef Darren Robertson of Three Blue Ducks and Henschke Family Wines, members and guests enjoyed a thoughtfully curated menu paired with a selection of acclaimed and rare Henschke wines, many drawn from the family’s museum and special release collection. The evening was expertly guided by MC Magdalena Roze, alongside senior wine writer for The Australian, Nick Ryan, who shared their knowledge and commentary throughout the dining experience.
Aligned with the Australian WPGA Championship, the evening also featured an intimate on-stage conversation with world-class golfing champions Hannah Green and Steph Kyriacou, joined by Karen Lunn, Chief Executive Officer of the WPGA Tour of Australasia. Together, they offered insight into elite competition and the future of the women’s game, providing members with a rare and memorable perspective.
The experience concluded with a wine auction showcasing museum and rare releases from the Henschke cellar, underscoring the enduring relationship between the Henschke family and Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club, and rounding out an evening defined by heritage, excellence, and shared appreciation for the very best of Australian food, wine, and sport.
