WPGA Championship – Volunteer Information

Volunteers are essential to the success of the Australian WPGA Championship, providing support across Club facilities, on-course operations and hosted hospitality.

This is your chance to be part of championship week at Sanctuary Cove by contributing your time and skills alongside professional athletes throughout tournament play.

Roles available

Volunteer roles are open between Monday 16 March and Sunday 22 March 2026 as follows:

  • Walker scorers
  • Drink carriers
  • Carry board holders
  • Scoring
  • Hole marshals
  • Volunteer HQ assistants
  • Ball spotters
  • Player transport drivers
  • TV production assistants
  • Media assistants

Golf tournaments in Australia use Rosterfy to coordinate volunteers. Once registered, volunteers can explore roles, complete induction and manage allocated shifts via roster tools.

Via Rosterfy, volunteers can:

  • View and register interest in golf volunteer roles
  • Access induction and training modules
  • Confirm, adjust or decline allocated shifts
  • View event rosters
  • Update personal profile details

A Queensland Government-issued Blue Card is required for all volunteer roles.

If you hold a valid Blue Card, or completed one for the 2025 WPGA volunteer application, your approval will be valid for 2026 and you can move directly to the linking stage.

If you do not have a Blue Card, please apply after registering as a volunteer. Note: Approval takes a minimum of 28 days and may take 10–28 days depending on application volumes. We recommend completing volunteer registration at least six weeks before the 2026 event.

You can link your volunteer status using the steps below, or visit Member Services for assistance with registration and Blue Card enquiries.
